Our pack was founded on March 31, 2002 and is based in New Market, Maryland. Our chartering organization is New Market United Methodist Church.

Pack 1628 offers boys a program that focuses on completing the requirements for each cub scout rank, gaining initial familiarity with camping and the outdoors, character development, community service, and fun activities with boys in the same age group. We have monthly pack meetings during the school year and offer summer activities as well.
